A beautiful tree grows up from the green, green grass towards the sky, sprouting leaves in spring. As the season passes to autumn the leaves turn brown and fall to the ground, leaving a bare tree in winter, only for it to fade way and be replaced by a new year tree for a new year. The leaf and branch structure of each tree is created in a semi-random fashion, just like real trees in nature. This original animated screensaver was created using macromedia flash and flash actionscript. An animated tree growing in a populated forest. A variety of different forest backgrounds are included and many different types of unique tree grow each time a new background picture is displayed. The tree is animated using the flash actionscript 2 programming language. This means that each tree is actually created in real time. There are only a few loose predetermined rules as to how the tree should grow, therefore each forest tree that is animated is completely unique product.
